    Bill I haven’t used any of the aftermarket replacement pumps - yet. They are sold by most of the reputable parts supplier's. There are still rebuilt pumps available, but some of them have been on the shelf for a long time. Overhaul kits are still available also. 5195078. Steve

    1959 John Deere 440 - kicking out of 2nd gear

    There are some badly chipped teeth but there also appears to be water in the oil. Water is not a good lubricant.

    John Deere 430 crawler running issues

    Bigdaver Have you checked the valve adjustments? Another way to check to see if it is fuel starvation is to put some gas in a squirt bottle, pull the air intake hose and squirt small amounts of fuel in the carb inlet. If you can keep it running that way it is starving for fuel.

    435 diesel hydraulics

    I do not have a 435 to look at only your write up and pictures. Looking at the top picture and the 4 lines that are connected up to what looks like a pressure relief valve the top 2 hoses run up to the steering control valve. With the T and street elbow they are connected to both are connected...
