    Old 484 IH Tractor (maybe 1984?)

    As suggested by @JimB2, I disassembled the foot lever, bolts, and bar. Spring #2 is missing, so I will need to replace that. Rod 8 then was disconnected from the foot lever. The problem is that shaft #9, once free from the pedal control, will not rotate at all... so I can't move it. I tried...

    Thanks everybody... I left it soaking in the oil overnight. Will check it this AM and if still stuck I will disconnect the pedal rod #8 and see if the shaft #9 can be rotated. It looks like I am also missing spring #2. I am not sure if it was there when I acquired the machine. Once I get it...

    Old 484 IH Tractor (maybe 1984?)

    I have an old 484 that I inherited and I don't know its origin. I think it is a 1984 or earlier model. It has a BOSH fuel injection system. I put a new water pump on it, new hoses, new air cleaner, new fuel lines, and filters. I got it back to working shape and have used if for two seasons...
