1960's 4400 Gas Starter
I have a 60's 4400 gas tractor which had the starter go out. It's an old replacement, and has always ground a bit. When I removed it, it looks like the pinion gear is too small and has only just been engaging right on the tops of the ring gear teeth. It's finally wore them off where it won't...
