    The pump and shaft are both 3/4” keyed so Inordered a universal joont with both ends 3/4” keyed. I will set it to as little preload as possible and inspect every time I use it for any stress.

    I just went and looked these parts up, wish I had the information prior to ordering, I likely would have gone this direction. This would make it easier and far better setup, the biggest issue I see is the alignment shift that would be just part of the end result, doubtful it would be enough to...

    I will also use a universal joint attaching the pump and get rid of the coupler setup, just makes more sense. The new pully should be here this week, will look at it and perhaps turn down my own adaptor and attach it if I can make it work.

    Did you turn the washer down? Also, the Dearborn pully and spacer, how does it bolt up? A bit vague on the installation. Look at a New Holland installation?

    That is kinda what I am possibly thinking as well. Grade 8 with washer and lock washer with locktite.

    It is the bolt that holds pulley to crankshaft. My thought is to check the original up and turn the end off if need be for clearance if it comes down to that.

    Yes, I did. The part number in the books shows this and with not knowing a proper cross cross-reference, a little hard to know what I am in need of. I don’ t know of and have not found a cross reference for parts.
