    My 5200 diesel had a round muffler on it when I got it. Had to wear ear plugs with it. Swapped over to a tall oval muffler from a 6600. The sound level went down tremendously. No more ear plugs!

    Just curious, since it has the correct rear housing for eagle hitch, but does not have an eagle hitch, what is the serial number. I have a 51, 5526777 that does have the eagle hitch arms on it but no live pto.

    Old bolt removal

    They make special fluted sockets called bolt out that work well for rounded heads like that. They are sold under both the Irwin and Craftsman names. I would recommend investing in a set. They work very well and save time later. No additional work required.

    Those letters are the same as they used on Ford pickup’s 73-76. Probablythe same as used on mid series trucks of the same era.

    From Exerience, you need to make sure and wash around the hydraulic block and steel lines. Dirt lays there and rust the lines out. Good luck in finding those parts!
