Ford 2000 Fuel delivery problems
Not a dad-gum filter(or screen) on this tractor! Guess the previous owner did away with "em. I found some trash in the shut off valve at the bottom of the tank. Blew out all the lines again. Removed the fuel pump and cleaned it out with carb cleaner. Made a new gasket for it and replaced it. Now... -

Dodging thunderstorms and tornadoes today, but I'll get on those filters tomorrow. I flowed gas through the lines before hooking up the carb, but it's hard to look at a gravity fed stream and know if you're getting the correct fuel pressure when she's running. -

I have a 72 or 73 Ford 2000. I replaced the Holley with a Zenith, but I can"t seem to get the fuel through the carb. If I add a little gas to the cylinders, it"ll start and stay running. Once it has sat a little while though it won"t restart. I can pull the plugs and they are dry. I"m guessing...
