    Tach cable lube

Replacing the tach cable on my 2-105 4wd. This is the style with the plastic tab on the back of the tach head. Lots of replacement tach cables for the threaded nuts on both ends. My housing appears to be in good shape. My question is what everyone uses for tach cable lube that won't gum up in...

This is an update to the question I had posted earlier about a bushing in the Clark axle on my 2-105. I did tear it down yesterday and found that there was not a bushing in this axle. I confirmed that the dimensions Jake Collie provided matched my axle. Thanks again Jake. My son is making the...

Bushing in MFWD axle housing. Super 99?

Watched a Youtube video last night posted by Super 99. Chris was changing an outer steering housing on "Herman" his 1950. During the video he talks about putting a bushing in the center housing behind the inner seal. I have to replace the inner seal on my 2-105 MFWD and would like to know more...

    Cat 3126 problem

I know a cat 3126 is not a tractor engine, but I think there is an answer to this problem among the experts on this forum. I am a member of the local volunteer fire dept. We have a 2003 Freightliner with a cat 3126 responding from our sub-station. A couple months back, I responded to an early...

Just got the PTO working on my 2-105. While testing Pto pressure after the repair it is 200#. The spec is 240#. The pressure is adjusted with shim washers on a spool in the hydraulic control valve. Is this enough, or should I bump it up to 240#? Thanks for your thoughts. Steve.

Have been working on the hydraulics on my 2-105. Determined that the pump was worn based on low pressure and excessive flow from case drain.
