    GP steering hard !

    The ball thrust bearings were ok , I removed and washed with diesel , oiled with STP ( may have made a mistake ) ,reinstalled and greased bushing thru fittings. Steering box was rebuilt 2 years ago. Still no help . Thanks for the interest. GEMALO

    The steering on my 1931 GP is impossible to operate when stopped , and difficult when moving .I have taken the box and spindles apart , cleaned and reassembled to spec. The steering is still difficult , is this normal ?

    On my 31 GP Tractor ,How do you get and keep oil pressure, at times after cranking it doesn't show any pressure , and other times it comes up , sometimes delayed... if I remove the plug on the pump ( behind the flywheel ) and put air pressure fron a tank ,lightly, it will start showing oil...
