    What exactly are these classes supposed to be for? I was under the assumption they were for stock tractors that haven't been "tinkered" with, straight out of the field, washing is optional.     Soooo. Is 10:00 am the official start time then? Weigh-in starts at 10 or first pull at 10? Aweful early if some have to travel a long ways to get there. Especially when that is 9am for the next door neighbors.

    You need to find out what John Deere was advertising them as when they were selling them "back in the day". I don't know where external_link gets their information, but they have the A listed as a 2 bottom (14") plow.

    Geometry of the drawbar

    Looking at the rules on the usap website they have a min drawbar length, but not a maximum. Wouldn't you want the longest drawbar possible? Obviously I am new at this and just trying to get this figured out. Doesn't make any sense to me why they don't have a maximum length in the rules.

    My tractor is plenty nose heavy. I can't really go any higher with the drawbar. Would it do any good to shorten it, and move the hooking point closer to the axle? Thanks!
