    Thank you Dean .I hoped it might be easier as i'm 200mi. away from tractor and limited visits. Guess i'll continue down hill with firm grip on shifter for a while. Thanks again. PapII

    What can I expect to find when remove tran. cover? Will I need new shift lever, spring, spring seat, pin, or anything else? Will I find the ball socket worn? Can this be weld repaired usually? Thank you for your help. Pap II

    Welder Dufus

    May help to think of stick welding as using a blunt club to melt big and wide. Mig welding is like using a sharp pencil ,using more movement .Keep America Strong- WELD IT
