    Follow up on T/A clutch load test

    Putting a 100 pounds of torque on sun shaft of a T/A with clutch plate and rollers removed. 38 pounds was needed to keep carrier from turning backwards. Could be off a little, Hard to hold torque wrenches square by myself. Output shaft of T/A was restrained from turning to represent a load.

    biggered picture of starter lever.

    Think the bracket that mounts to steering post is same one that a M uses with a foot starter. shaft and lever is a SH serial 19234 and up item only though. Previous SH have starter mounted on a different side of housing than the SH you have.

    Posted this picture on the subject of when IH stated offering a seat attachment from them like monroe was selling aftermarket. Was thinking the picture was from 1948. But after more checking it looks like the train wreck was on June 3 1947 near Ash Grove Indiana.

    Piston pin bushings price

    Anyone know of any reasonable price piston pin bushings for a C-264 and C281 engines with small pin. Price has went crazy, close to 90 to 120 a bushing when a large pin bushing for a 248 and 264 are bigger and around 10 bucks.
