    4630 no power to the instrument panel

    Working on a 4630 for a neighbor. He said it wasn't charging. I have no power to any of the instruments and the is no power to the output terminal on the alternator. I've checked all the fuses by the battery and of course they are fine. Are there any harness connectors buried in there to check?

    Is the pto brake disc on a 2840 supposed to have a facing or lining on the side away from the brake piston?

    620 Main Bearing removal

    I'm working on a 620 with a galled main bearing behind the flywheel. Does anybody have a good way to pull it off the crankshaft. There are 5/16" tapped holes in the main bearing for the slinger cover but I don't think that small of a bolt will hold up to a puller.

    Crazy Price

    I'm working on a 3020. On the rear corners of the hood there is a reinforcing plate the the hood attaching bolt screws into. Basically a 1x3 plate with 3 threaded holes in it. For a package of two John Deere wants $158. I about fell over. I guess I'll be making one.
