4 disc plow
Can a M handle a 4 disc plow? I know it can only handle up to a 3-14, but am not sure about disc plow rating. Thanks.- digii3

New Holland Model 455 Sickle mower help
Thank-you for the assistance. The parts man was able to find the needed parts from the number you gave. Apparently, my 455 is a newer model and the actual bushing part number is 12761 and the bolt is 3" long. As it turned out, that serial number was a very important detail.- digii3

I have a New Holland model 455 mower and the pin is missing and needing replacement. New Holland parts manual (online) does not have part number for the missing part (not drawn)... Help?? Below link are photo of the situation... I suspect I just need a bushing and a pin, but no idea what pin...- digii3

Plowing problems...
I have added a pic of the tractor connected to the plow. The wheels are visible and some (maybe a lot) of soil sticks to the wheels. I will add result of the plow and wheel marks, if any tonight. 5 picts and shor description. More pict coming soon- digii3

I am having some problems with plowing here and hope someone can help. I have never farmed before and am starting with a 1951 Farmall M and a pull type plow. The idea is to plow the land, then disc, then plant. I am plowing the parameter first, then so inside and start to plow in rows inside...- digii3

The pin that attaches the moving portion of the mower blade and the none-moving portion of the rock deflector/blade broke off and is missing on my 451. What size pin/bolt do I need to put it back together? Thanks.- digii3

Help! two way hydraulic only work one way...
Help! Does anyone know what to do to get a two way hydraulic on a M (not super M) to work in two ways? My unit only work in one way. It would go up, but not down. It does hold the cylinder with pressure though though. I had to use the other lever from the belly to make it come down. any...- digii3
