    Fixed sediment bowls yesterday

Good deal.......people rarely do these things today.......rather go out and buy new which in some cases are inferior to the original.

    Explain this wreck

And......totally unrelated to the accident itself; "It was scary i cried My back herts bc of it he failed to yealed and we crashed" Could this be considered a commentary on the state of today's education system?

    What did you lose today?

Unfortunately, chains, binders and crowbars are items everybody would like to have but nobody wants to buy.

Turner mfg Co. vintage hay baler

That's interesting. My Dad had a pull type Turner twine baler back in the 50s. It was ruggedly built but not a great machine. The color was orange that almost matched the color of his Allis WD. Can't recall ever seeing another like it.

    Picture of the day

I agree with SMS.........covering the top only will allow the wood to season better. Having the wood up off the ground allows even more air to circulate. What little rain or snow that blows in will not hinder the drying much at all. I hadn't quite gotten the pile fully covered when this picture...

    Using My Old Tractors

I never got around to cleaning up the leaves in this ditch last fall. It turned out almost easier to take care of it this spring while they were wet and "settled down". Saved some strain on my ol' back too.

    Mystery padlock

I remember back tn the day you could "dial" a rotary phone by simply tapping the handset cradle the number of times of the number you wanted to dial with a pause between each number. eg: 2 taps = 2, 3 taps=3 etc. There were several types of dial locks but you could bypass any of them with this...

another tractor ready for plow day

Viola is also a stringed instrument. I bet that little C runs like a well tuned viola!

i found it in an old truck.

I agree.....'spent last week in the Carrribean and drank mostly Heineken and Corona which both still require an opener. A lot of plain ol' corkscrews have a bottle opener incorporated in them so I have relegated the nicer "church keys" to my drawer of collectibles.

    Allis-Chalmers DeLuxe

The lift cylinders appear to be 3 stage.....that would make them seriously long as well. It apears they may have had a font mounted pump at one time. Operating those big cylinders with the stock system would have been painfully slow.

    Whats this hole?

That shaft turns at the same rate as the crankshaft?

    bent screwdriver

I would put it in a vise....maybe some aluminum on the jaws so it doesn't get scratched.

    Tech lab Tuesday

Just a wild guess....for ease in installing pistons.

Pre oil the pre filter or not?

My old Kohler manual says to oil and squeeze....I never liked that idea for the same reason Kawasaki cites. I install dry and blow it clean every time I mow. Been doing this for years and always remove lots of dust. I am curious......does Kawasaki recommend regular cleaning of the pre-filter?

    Another Customized Cub Cadet

I don't know why this made me think of Tippi Hedren of "The Birds".
