ford 4400 spindle problem
Both my front spindles have rusted solid. They only move with the aid of a big hammer. There is a bolt/stud that goes through the axel right next to the spindel rod. Im guessing it is there to make sure the rod won't come out. My manual does'nt show this on any of the models covered. Im...- Dan in WNY

I got a cheep manual from a local tractor supply, located two filters that need changing/cleaning. I looked at the prices of some of the manuals on line and just can't afford them. I bought a ford 4400 w/loader & backhoe from my uncles neighbor. I dont know what year it is, im guessing late 60's early 70's.
