    June Green Magazine - Richard?

Well that's good to know that not everyone has this problem. It is such a fine magazine and I would hate to think the costs involved if everyone had this problem. I guess I received my magazine so fast this month as my mailman must not have read it. :)

    June Green Magazine - Richard?

Hi Richard and Green Magazine enthusiasts, I just received my June 2019 Green magazine and was looking for the article on electronic ignitions, when I noticed it was missing pages 51-62. Does anyone else have this problem or is mine an extremely rare issue now?..

1977 4230 quad range pops out of 3rd and 4th gear

I have a 1977 4230 quad range that occasionally pops out of 3rd and 4th gear no mater what range it is in. The interesting part is that it mainly happens when the tractor is going downhill. I have searched for this problem and I see Tim S. has talked about a spring on 4430's to hold the...

    What is this thing?

Hi Richard, I sent you two photos. My brother also posted this question on facebook and after many replies someone posted that it is a Chilsom-ryder bean harvester. This machine is located in a SE WI junk yard so that may make sense as there used to be many vegetable farms in this area at one...

    4320 main fuse blowing

I have a 4320 that occasionally used to blow the main fuse. The main wiring harness was replaced a few years ago because it had some worn spots and that seemed to correct the problem. Now if I quickly hit the throttle it will blow the fuse every time. However if I gradually throttle it up it...

    4240 front drawbar support removal

Like I said I just went through what you are trying to do a few days ago. I had to take the entire support off to get at the bushing you are talking about. I had to knock them out from the inside out as there is a lip on the inside. I had a devil of a time getting the e-clips out, but I had a...

    4240 front drawbar support removal

I hit it with a small sledge hammer and good punch about 2-3 times and then it loosened enough to come out easily after that. Not really hard hits, but pretty good ones.

    4240 front drawbar support removal

I just went through this with a 4230 last week. I too thought about drilling it out, but then called my JD mechanic. He told me just knock pin #7 out from the side. It was tight but it did come out just like he said. The roll pin does not go into the pin it is only held against it by part...

    decals

I have had very good luck with K&K up until this past summer. I ordered a set of decals for a 730 last November and I didn"t get around until this past summer of putting them on. When I went to put on the power steering decal it was missing the "T" and it said "POWER SEERING". I called them up...
