1962 Massey Ferguson 65

Purchased this Gas Massey today. Cousin has a repair shop and I was helping him with this tractor. Found a #2 intake valve stuck open. Owner did not want to spend the money to fix it. I made him an offer and he agreed. Besides the head work it will need a left front tire, left side grill, rewired, seat cushions, removal of the canopy, some new gauges and a tach cable. I have the right side grill, center piece and chin metal. Hope to get it in the shop by the middle of next month. Have to finish the Farmall Cub I bought in March first.

Since it is going to need head work, I'll pass this info. The rocker arm shaft can be assembled two ways. Right or wrong. The I.T. manual that I have instructs you to do it wrong. Follow their advice and the rocker arms get no oil.

The OEM Massey service manual has instructions that are correct.

You will like it. Power steering and with the factory exhaust they are very pleasant to run.
