2025 Plow Day

We had 17 tractors pulling 47 bottoms. In spite of the nerve-wracking weather forecasts, we had fairly pleasant conditions for the morning plowing. Broke for group photo, lunch, and general visiting around 12:30. The heavens opened around 1:30, and it poured rain while everyone was still under cover in the scale building, where the meal was set up. The rain cleared out before long, but the soaking proved to make the ground conditions too gummy to plow much more ground.

Many thanks to our friends who make this annual event such a pleasure to host for members of Tractors of Yesteryears and friends.

Lined up at lunchtime.

I did more directing than plowing this year.

All in all, a great day! No major breakage and everyone stayed safe. Linda had another great lunch for us. Most tractors ever, think the highest before was 10. We have hosted a plow day here since at least 2010.

Now that's how to have fun. Much trouble plugging in those cornstalks?
