I am somewhat familiar with testing a gas gauge regarding the sending unit, but if you have power in to the gauge with a test light, power in to that post. Gauge reads E with no power coming out with the ground post grounded to the battery. From what I know, the gauge is shot. Am I right? The gauge wasn't hooked up to the sending unit when i got it. It is converted to 12v. pos. You supposed he fried the gauge? Thanks all.
