3pt Hydraulics move up and down when i pick up a big round bale
The 3 position in the right side by my foot is in the down position.
Is there something that needs to be adjusted. If so could someone give me step by step instructions or lead me to a you tube video. T.i.a

You are referring to the draft control selection lever. Go to John Deere Publications and download the owners manual OMR28871. It will cover the settings for this function.

The selector in the down most position should set the 3pt system to depth control where it responds to operating lever position and not to how hard the implement pulls. It’s the correct position to use for carrying something.

Does the hitch not hunt up and down with something less heavy? Does the hitch settle down quickly with the engine stopped?

I suspect the rock shaft piston loses oil and then the internal control triggers it to refill. You could try the other selector settings to see if they are same. In addition to an adjustment out of spec it can also be leaking from the oring on the piston or leakage in the valve itself due to damage and/or wear.

I have a 8ft blade and it doesn't seem to go up and down much yes i do believe it bleeds off rather quick when the tractor is off. I tried the other positions and it wont lift the bale.
