3020 hoods

I have an early 3020. Needs a new hood. Also needs a muffler. Can I get that late series hood and buy an oval muffler and then the hood will fit or are they not interchangeable?? I can do away with the air cleaner pipe.

The rear side panels mount differently on the top, don't have the two pins you pull down on.

Your chances of finding a good late model hood are not very good but it should work.You will need to drill the holes at the rear for the side panels. Tom
