310 IH bolt pattern

Does the IH 310 german diesel have the same bell housing bolt pattern as the other IH six cylinder engines? I am looking at a 715 combine to take the motor out and put into my 460. How do I tell the difference between the 301 and 310 diesels?

I assume so as it came in a couple tractors as a standard engine. I know the late 686 had them.
