430 Case

I bought a 430 Case dsl. Someone told me that it has the same engine 188CI as in the 630 and you could turn up the pump to make it around 50HP. Is that true? And how hard is that to do and would it hurt the tractor? Thanks Dan

Never owned one, though I always considered it a great little tractor, however, years ago a dealer told me he turned the pum up on a 430 to give it the same hp as a 530. Don't know about a 630. Find some specifications. I think what they were doing was to increase the rpms. The book should tell you if that is son, also will give engine cid.
