620 Front Weights

My new to me 58 620 has the 3 piece weight set. I am in the process of removing the set. Front piece is now off but I'm not sure how the side weight is removed. I have loosened the two bolts thinking it would come off but it won't budge. Are there other fasteners that I can't see needing removal? Any help would be appreciated.

I bet you still got the nut on the backside of the bolt close to radiator

The front bolt should be a carriage bolt that fits in a slot. The weight needs to be slid forward, then it should come off.

Thanks for the help. Got them off today. I think they have been on the tractor since 1958. Ill keep your number Weird Deere should I decide to sell them.

There is also a two piece set that was made for the 50-70 models that used the front studs to mount.

I put those front weights on to help counter balance my two bottom mounted plow. Attached with an 800 series 3pt hitch both of which are not period correct. I also took those front weights off of one of my 70's which they also fit and those three piece weights are also listed in the old parts cat. for the 70. I also have the front weights made for the 60 and 70 (50 too but not on the tractor).
