As always - thanks guys for a great forum. This has been HUGE help to me for more than a decade!!!
This time I have the two lever loader control just to the right of the seat. The control closest to the seal is used for up/down for the loader. It sticks sometimes in the down position.
Anyone know anything about this one? Where the sticking point is?
Thanks again. Travm

It stays in the down position and will lift the front of the tractor up
sounds like the orings in the spool are old and hard,, or I have seen valves cracked from the psi being cranked down to tight,, both conditions can cause the spool to stick, there is a small step to help when replacing the orings without the sharp edges of the spool cutting them right off, if it ends up being the orings I can explain that step as well if needed , also seen a bent spool one time

Many thanks guys how much of a job is it to change the old rings in the spool?

Water in the oil will cause corrosion if it set for a long while. Found the valve body that way on a 730 and was able to polish it back with rouge and a buffing wheel. The inside I used the really small paint roller with rouge and spun it fixed to a cordless drill.
