6310 power reverser problem

Is there an adjustment in (oil pressure?) the mechanical power quad reverser that can minimize the sudden jolt or jump in transition from forward to reverse? My older 6300 is very smooth with 4000 hours, my newer 6310 with 1,000 is very abrupt and jerks fairly significantly...
