I bought a brand new 69 Dodge Superbee while on home on leave Feb. 69. 383 magnum also, 4 speed. Amen on the young and foolish. I traded mine in around 74 or 75, and have been kicking myself ever since.

You are correct. I have owned 2 69 Road Runners. One had the regular hood and one had the ram air shaker hood. I still have the original Bill of Sale for the first one I bought. I paid $2785.00 off the showroom floor. Both of the ones I had were Butterscotch colored.

It had been stored for a man who eventually passed. It was purchased by another who replaced the master cylinder, wheel cyl.,belts,hoses,shocks and tires. He too passed and I bought it from the son. Third owner, wish me luck.

Very nice.
Looks like the one I had back in 70 thru 73. Traded it in for a 73 Charger.
The front torsion bars on mine went dry and they squeaked every time I drove into the church parking lot.
Finally had them replaced.
