Adding remotes on early model JD 4020

Hello I have a 64 ish 4020 with loader but no 3-point (serial # not totally legible but it is the very early series with the shorter serial # - it even still has the old oil bath filter!). If it is possible would like to add a couple more remotes. I have seen some of these tractors with loader attached controls, leaving the rear remotes available. Is that something only on later model 4020's or is that something I could plumb up on mine? Thanks in advance for any help.

A dual spool hyd valve with 4 breakaway couplers can be added to an early model 4020 similar to a valve designed to control a frt end loader. One would need to mount valve on a stand or fender. Valve will need a closed center conversion plug. First photo is for att6aching pressure hose4 to valve & 2nd photo is for attaching return hose from remote valve to line on LH side of your tractor.

My gas 4020 came with an interesting set up. There is a closed center valve mounted on the water manifold with pressure coming from a tee on the line to the three point and return going to a ported filter. The remote lines go to a bracket on the left rear. This mounting allows for a control rod to go to an added lever on the dash. I would recommend the setup Jim suggested. My setup has too many lines under the hood not too far from the exhaust manifold. It does work and appears factory unless you look closely.
