Hello, looking for some help with an old wheel loader I am working on. The crankcase was filling with oil, source ended up be directly from the IP itself (shaft seal)?

I am looking for a reputable shop to rebuild or replace this pump for me. We used to have a local guy, seems they closed up shop and/or retired. I am in the North East, MD area, close to both Delaware and the PA line.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

The system wont allow me to post the data plate pics.... it thinks I'm trying to spam the fourm...

It's a Roosa Master DCGFC 629 1FW (2200 RPM)

Sn is rusty, but [i:dae1199283]appears[/i:dae1199283] to be: 1215645 with another (MFG #) number of: 4027103.

That is a common Rosa Master injection pump in the world of
Diesel engines from the 1960-1970s era. I am from the
Midwest so am not familiar with the pump rebuilders in your
part of the county. I would go to a local Diesel engine repair
shop or two and ask for advice. Your model number is the key
information required. DCGFC629-etc-etc means DC - 4 roller
pump, GFC is a common ag governor, 6 cylinder engine, 29 is
diameter of pistons in pump, and so on. Use caution
reassembling bonnet-umbrella seals on pump shaft as not to
roll them over. And can be kind of tricky getting the pump
lined up with the pump drive shaft, the splines can be finicky

Thanks for the reply and information.

Anyone else know of a shop near the Mid Atlantic region that is reputable?

Hello PJ welcome to YT! There is a diesel injection
pump repairman on the YT forums that posts here
regularly in many of the topic sections under the name
of Dieseltech. Many members ship their pumps to him
for repair. I have not personally used his services but it
is always said that people are very pleased with his
work and the economical price he charges. I believe he
is in Ohio, his direct email is mhf35diesel at yahoo.com
just replace the at with the symbol and no spaces. If
you want to see some of his posts go to the search
feature up top and place Dieseltech in the author box
and search. Yes, this forum has blocks on new posters
posting pictures, you need 5 posts to post pictures.
This forum is run maintaining a G rating. So this keeps
the not so well intended from dropping a bunch of no
no photos.

Door to door in a week [u:a9d6985447]flat[/u:a9d6985447]! No excuses, no complaints or war stories,....just plain old fashioned good service!
