Another oil thread

I'm in a bit of a pinch and need hydraulic oil for my 484 and the tractor is a hundred miles away along with the manuals for it.

I have no case/IH dealer anywhere near me.

What spec do I need for the oil ?

My tractors, including an IH 986, get Bomgaars "Harvest King Premium Tractor Trans-Hydraulic Oil" which is listed as meeting all the major manufacturer's specs for transmission/hydraulic fluid. Other regional farm stores would have a similar product.

Any farm store should have an equivalent to Case Hytran hydraulic oil.

NAPA carries an equivalent to Hytran.
