Atleast I made it rain

I started cutting 3rd crop on Wed. anticipating higher temps yet and a faster dry-down time. The 3rd crop wasn't very much either so I thought it wouldn't be a problem.

As soon as I cut again on Thursday, it did the same thing it did for 1st crop and the forecast changed. I started pulling it together today for a while, and now that we can't bale we'll just chop off the little bit we have and put it in the silo or feed it right outta the wagons. Depends on how much we have.

The last 5 or 6 days have been a little on the cooler side. Not completely a bad thing, atleast we may stil be able to get a 4th crop like we're hoping.

I began stripping the paint of my project yesterday and it rained last night. Not in the forecast, but we got 'er anyhow.

I am pretty sure fresh cut hay, unshingled roofs, fresh graded roads, and bare metal are all rain magnets.... I am pretty sure you can darn near kill a perfectly good drought by ripping your shingles off.

I've tried everything I know how to bait it into raining a decent rain here in Mid Michigan. Nothing works.
