Saw a John Deere 4630 in good condition sell Sat.for $10,000,thought that was pretty cheap for a Deere?Bob.

Auctions are always a cr_p shoot. Just depends on the mood of the buyers, and how much $ they brought. Good auctioneer can help too, but results can be so variable.

The local fall consinment auction was sat. Most yrs. everybody is dressed in carharts and rubber boots , alot of short briches this yr. as it broke 90 degs. and for the most part folks had money to burn , you could stop in town and buy new for what they were paying for used stuff . I had to leave to put up a few sq. bales before the big stuff sold but ther was`nt as much there as usual , smaller crowd too .
