Case 310 starter

I have a frien who needs a starter for a case 310 backhoe with a 4 cyl gas engine. Anybody know of a place to start looking? Thanks stan

Hace you tried this very site? they don't specifically list a starter for a 310, but here's what comes up:

If it"s just the armature or the fields need rewinding, most communities have a rebuilder, or a power co employee or mechanic (oops!-technician) who rewinds in his basement.

If he was in Northern NY I'd say Scott's Auto Electric. he's a wizard on starters, generators, alternators, etc.
