Case 400 injector pump

Hello Dan welcome to YT! I believe that engine uses a PSB pump that the manufacture of parts have been discontinued for. Common problem is when these pumps set unused part of the pump sticks and locks up. The when the engine is cranked the shaft twists off. So those shafts are scarce as hens teeth. Using the following @Dieseltech will summons the resident injection pump tech here on YT! Unfortunately I am sure he will have the same bad news for you. I am not sure if a different pump can be installed on that engine or not, he would know or possibly another Case guy will see this and chime in.
Lastly I would recommend you remove or edit your phone number unless you really like spam calls. Change your name to DanF and change the first 4 numbers to eight oh two three. There are “bots” that monitor open sites like this looking for phone numbers and names. And FYI if you use a phone the edit feature is accessed by the 3 dot in the lower left to the right of Report.

I have one on an 800 that should fit. Was working when I started taking parts off the tractor. I would sell it if you ship me yours so mybtractor looks complete. I have a yard art project in mind for it.

that has been noted many many time here, no parts available, and never turn the engine over till the pump has been removed. this applies to any tractor with that pump . i also have a 400 and am no way trying to turn it over till i get the pump off.

Correct what caused the damage to your shaft.
Put a part numbers into YT or tractor house see if they have .
Other options is to reverse engineer part have drawings made and send out to machine shops can precision grind to tight tolerances for quotes .
Quote one will be costly, but if you can make enough to sell and pay profitable,will pay for your effort.
