I’m working on a tractor for a friend. He is having a problem with the PTO on his Case C50. From what he is telling me, when mowing with a brush hog, the pto will intermittently dis-engage and re-engage causing damage to the pto shaft on his mower. When engaging the PTO lever, it spins as it should. Any ideas or tips on fixing the PTO not staying engaged under a load?
