Case SI

I bought a 1945 Case SI yesterday. I hadn't seen a SI before. How many of these were made? Do Case SC and S parts interchange with the SI? The grill on this SI is flat with a mesh in it, so know that is different. Some one cut a knotch out of the hood to make room for a bigger muffler - do S or SC hoods interchange with a SI? Would appreciate any information anyone might have on SI tractors.

I own a SI that has the normal sc grill.Mine was used by the army corp. Engine is a normal sc engine.I have seen alot of different si over the years.Depends on how they were ordered when new.

SI hoods are usually the same as SCs. SIs usually have a foot clutch but not always. I have seen several variations and have an SI airborne. All have something a little different
