I've purchased this not long ago and would like any info. Like the year, model and size of engine. Any pointer on getting this thing running.

Same engine as the LA tractor. U could look it up under the tractor for specs. Powerful engine. Has like a 5x6 inch stroke. Probably was running a sawmill.

Just noticed it looks like exhaust is not covered. So u better check if its seized. If so from sitting like that then it would be more to overhaul it than its worth. Do u know if the engine turns over. Big deal in answering your question.

The crank is bent some so I'm mot able to use. I turned it over by using the fan. I'd like to connect a starter. Where could I find one. I've popped the starter cover seal off and there are teeth on the flywheel. Which made me happy.

Good its not stuck. Find a starter from an old tractor
would be your cheapest way out. Best go remove the
carb and clean it. Go through the ignition , make sure you
have spark. Even belt it up to a tractor and let it turn over
and get things lubed up. Thats how I got my LA running.
There was rust and junk flying out the exhaust pipe , then
advanced the mag and she fired up still blowing junk out.
Exhaust was covered also. Just from sitting the manifold
gets flakes of rust loosened up. Had it at the pulls and
those are one strong tractor. And of course give it an oil
and filter change. Seamed like it took forever to fill that
oil canister and get oil to the rockers. Did all this on the
belt pulley with valve cover off after adjusting the valves
to make sure had oil up there. Very easy starting that big
engine with 6 volt as that is what it is. Just one flip and
its running. I am even looking for a crank for mine as it
was taken off.

If the crank is bent you need to start there first. And where is it bent if in the throws oe mains then probablt need a new crank. If outsode the block then you mght get lucky and be able to straighten it. Doubt it though since a lot of cranks were cast iron.
