Friend needs a crankshaft for a Case Agriking.
Engine is an A451BD.
Serial number is 10088494.
Any ideas where to look?

Probably be helpful to know where you’re at since those cranks are fairly heavy and shipping isn’t cheap. Elmers Repair in KS would be my suggestion.

I have bought Case parts from North81 Tractor Salvage in Sedgwick KS. (316) 772-5491 north81tractorsalvage.com but shipping might be an issue if they have it. Have not looked for internal engine parts, just things like starters and generators and steering wheels but a phone call will tell you fast.

I have a neighbor that parts out tractors, he has two Case 1030s he is going to part out. I don't know if he has started on them yet but I can check and see, in north central Indiana.

I know of a 930 or 1030 on some land the ranch where my son works rents that is going to scrap. It was running a year or 2 ago. The owner is going to scrap everything. Tractors, cars, pickups and machinery. It would be a long haul from ND to SC though!

I can put a bug in his ear. I'm interested in the tire chains so I have pics of them but not the whole tractor. I think he's an older guy who probably isn't looking to part anything out, just wants to sell everything as is. I will try to get more info.

best check before you buy a 30 series crank, not sure about the journal size between the old indirect and the direct injection engines they may be the same I just can't recall

I called him, he has one apart with the crank out. He says it MIGHT need reground but has not measured the main/rod journals.
