Disc mower blades

How many here sharpen them? Or do you flip them once then replace. I will sharpen maybe 5 times then flip and sharpen another 5 times. I might be taking mine to far because I can tell it cuts better when I have a brand new set on.

I sharpen mine. Mowing roads etc. they get to a point I do replace them.

I let them go too long, flip them, let them go too long, then replace. Not much left to sharpen….

Most of what I cut is courser grass on ground too wet to mow on time, so sharpness isn’t all that important to cut the tall mature stems.

By the time I'm done with them, they're way too beat to sharpen.

I can get new blades for less than $2 each, not worth my time to sharpen.
