Electric fencer question

Can you hook two fencers on one line without damaging the fencer? Normally I hook a fencer in a loop pattern, so if it is shorted, the fence works up to the short from either direction, but for a field that is in a horse shoe pattern, where I can't run it in a loop I would like to run a fencer on both ends. never tried running two on one line before. About five miles of fence. Thanks for any information.

Split it in the middle.

Two on the same line will not work! Been there, Done that. My dad tried it. One will short out the other, then they both die. Run the two on separate lines. Top wire, bottom wire "IF" you think the two won't short to each other. Or one on each end, split in the middle somewhere.

Top and bottom wire sounds better. Split will also work but I like the ability to knock them on their butts two times!
