Electric motor wiring help

I got a new motor I need to wire up and I'm not quite sure where everything goes. There are two groups of wires and one single purple one. I assume the diagram on the left is the one I need for 110v. Which set gets the hot wire, which set gets the neutral wire and where does the purple wire go? I know it's kind of hard to see, but the order of the wires from top to bottom is

purple
red
orange
brown
black
white
yellow
green (ground)

One side of the incoming power (doesn't mater, hot or neutral), goes to purple.

Red, Orange and Brown are connected together as a group, and insulated from the motor frame and all other wires (wire nut).

Black, White and Yellow are connected together as a group, then connected to the other side of the incoming power.

If it runs backwards from what you require, swap the two starting winding leads as spelled out at the bottom of the diagram. (I can't read it in the photo.)

Thanks Bob, thats what I figured, but I definitely wanted to be sure. It does'nt matter which way it runs, it's for a sander that I can feed either way.
