electric pet claw trimmer

I saw an internet infomercial for a noiseless nail trimmer and decided to order it. Took 6 weeks t get it. It is quiet. I think it has brushless DC motor, USB charge. My dog didn't put up a big fuss. About $40. It grinds away the claw pretty fast. The only thing I don't like is you need to use it outside and wear a mask. I have one that has a "dust catcher" guard that covers the claw but it is loud and the dogs don't like it.

Over the years, occasionally I get asked 'how often do you trim your dog's nails?'. My response is 'I have Border Collies and I've never had to trim a nail. They are active enough to avoid long nails'.
