engine rebuilding shop

I am wondering if anyone knows of an engine rebuilding shop with block dip tank and crank regrinding abilities situated in Ontario, preferably Northern Ontario Thanks

I know you may want specific references to businesses people had good luck with but in a more broad sense I just web searched (googled) “Northern Ontario crankshaft grinding” and about a half dozen options came up. Block dip tanks are becoming a thing of the past, the common more environmentally friendly method is ovens that heat the block to 450-500F and bake the crud off.

I saw those places om n Google but as you mentioned I was really looking for some one that has had work done , and in N northern ontario like in sault or sudbury or New liskeard or north bay ??? thanks

Carquest purchased the big local engine machine shop in London a number of years ago, it is still under the old management and are still the place the place to take your iron blocks. Maybe check with your local Carquest to see if they will send your parts down here or give the London south branch on Wellington rd a call.

In TH they advertise Jasper rebuilt engines and transmissions.
