Can someone please tell me how I can remove the touch control lever on the console. Someone had welded a bolt on and it's not lining up to give full swing on the control arm. I'm trying to replace the left lever. Trying to figure this out without any luck...thanks jeff

Without a picture, this is a first thought. use a grinder to remove the welded bolt head or? then remove the bolt. there may be a need to reposition the pivot point for full lever action, or replace the assembly with a good used one. Jim

It's been on there for 70 years so it's probably not going to just fall off. You may not be doing anything wrong, but you might need heat.

Can't be stuck if it's liquid...

Thanks guys...I did have another one to put in but I managed to drill another hole for the lever. Put a new pin and good as new....thanks for your help...jeff
