My A starts easy, Run great, for about 45 minuites to an hour, then it starts to cut out
and the engine will die. I let it set 5 minuites
and it will start right up and run a short while
and cuts out and will die.
Has clean gas, New regulater,& plugs.
Don't know where to start looking????

Thanks for any Help

Likely the coil but could just as easily be something in the fuel system. Blocked breather in fuel cap, restricted fuel flow due to dirty filters or just before float valve.
As Paul says, check it out first before starting changing things. Good long blue spark would indicate it is not the ignition system. Removing fuel cap and listening for air going in, or draining the carb to check for full fuel flow for at least a minute might indicate a fuel system problem.
On the ignition side, it could be a switch or connection heating up and reducing current, problem with contact spring expanding and shorting - so don't just assume it is the coil.
Let's just say it is the most likely probability and go from there.

Tom: Not sure I agree with the coil idea folks. they may be right, however for me coils always took longer than 5 min., more like 25 min.

It could be fuel restriction, take the plug out of bottom of carb, see if you have good fuel flow. If not loosen fuel line and check there. This will tell you if restriction is in the screen in elbo going into carb or in the stem of sediment bowl. If the fuel is flowing well then I have to side with coil folks.

One thing that can happen with these sediment bowls, rust flakes from fuel tank can fill the stem of sediment bowl. These move around in such a way, sometimes fuel flows properly, and they can also shut it off in an instant.
