I'm in Indiana, so different market, but we put a commercial system on our warehouse through Emergent Solar Energy and it's been solid. We own the panels, no lease. Payback is tracking around 6 years. Not sure about Florida's net metering rules, but for us, overproducing didn't make sense, we sized it to our usage. If you're thinking DIY, I'd check local code first, commercial installs have a lot more permitting.
