Ford 3000 w' Allied Loader

Looking at buying a Ford 3000 diesel with an Allied Loader. The price is 7600. Being sold by one of the oldest and well respected Tractor mechanics in our area. Has new seat. New Clutch. Roll Bar. Everything works and of course...the loader.
Any opinions???

Hard to judge price without seeing the tractor, I watch ebay for prices on things. The link below is for a 3000 with loader that ended over the weekend. The final sale price was just under $4000. It is probably not as nice a loader as the one you are looking at.

$7600 sounds a little high for a 30-40 year old tractor. Even if it were in tip top shape, $6000 is probably the upper end of what I would consider for a 3000 with an allied loader.
