Ford 3400 power steering cylinder line seal

Anyone know if you could if this seal or ring is supposed to come out? I was working on the right cylinder and one of the ring/ seals were missing. Part number: 358774S, 4a. The picture is the left cylinder.

If it has its own part number, then it is intended to be serviceable. Otherwise the parts list would say not serviced separately and / or have no number at all.

That is a after market cylinder. Not a OEM Ford .

Looks like the parts drawing for a 3400 cylinder to me. Definitely different from the ones for the 2000/3000 ag chassis models.

It is, I robbed the column, cylinders, and pump off a 3400 and put it on a 3000 ag chassis

Besides the other comments, if it is the only "potential" sealing surface for a hydraulic cylinder then yes it can be driven out. Since you got it off a Ford, the parts list for that tractor should give you a number. Some aftermarket suppliers like here or ebay, may not list the number but will list the application guide at the bottom of the product "buy" screen.
