You could go over a lot of that unit with Hy-Tran & get the red to stand out good yet. Think the corn head is a CA80, 81 or 83. The 82 & 84 were the newer design without the augers. The harvester unit would be a FH80 - 83. The FH84 had the new Select-A-Cut transmission, which replaced the flat looking one in your pics.

Very cool find! I know I'd dig it out of the weeds if it were close.

I had one sitting here with a direct cut head on it for a long time. It want to the scrap yard years ago.
I'd give a spare organ for one of those right now. Lol! The timing of things never ceases to amaze me. One of the neighbors was just over, recently, to see if I had one for my chopper, to green chop his pasture.

Understand how it goes though. I gave up the cultivators & Lift All jacks for my H, due to the lack of general interest & value at the time.
