Gleaner R50

What is the trick to latching the cylinder door with 1 person? Currently , swing the door into place and it stays there... but when the latch shaft is rotated , it has a tendency to push the door open, not much, maybe an inch, but enough so that the latch jams. So I have to have another body hold UP on the door shaft with a breaker bar and pipe while I rotate the latch shaft with The Original Gleaner Muti-Wrench. The latch clicks in with the amount of force I would expect it to, seems to work perfectly. What am I doing wrong? Thanks Fritz

If you mean the rock door i have trouble with it also. It hasn't opened the last couple years, but if it does i have some one hold it up with the wrench and give it a bump with a 2x4 from the bottom side usually pops right in. Just stay out of the rocks.
